In the icy winter months, one very nice thing to do in Glarus is to visit a pool or spa.
Here's a list of great spots.
We generally don't wear shoes in the apartment, so we would very much appreciate it if you would follow suit. In your room, should you choose, are slippers of varying sizes.
Smoking within the confines of the apartment is not allowed. This includes smoking at open windows and in the restrooms. We kindly ask you and your filter-tipped friends to spend some time on the balcony. Please use the provided ashtray.
Smoking in the corridors of the building is also strictly prohibited.
The fireplace is not to be used without the presence of at least one of your hosts.
If you eat and/or drink in your room, please take your dirty dishes and wash them. Also, your package waste is not to be left behind.
Hours of rest must be observed (the Swiss are very protective of this). We kindly ask that you limit your noise levels between the hours of 22:00 and 07:00 (10:00pm and 7:00am).
Please do not simply help yourself to the bar or the wine refrigerator. You may ask your hosts to assist you (a small charge will be applied).
We kindly ask that you return any books and/or DVDs that you use. We also ask that you do not remove them from the premises.
If you are travelling by car, always place the provided parking permit in the windscreen of your car when parked in the courtyard.
If you neglect to do so, you may well receive a fine. Upon departure, please place the parking permit in the letterbox marked A.C. Mangham/T. Neupert.
If your car is parked in the garage, you are only permitted to park in space number 34. You risk having your car removed or receiving a fine if you do not uphold this rule. These parking spaces are owned by other tenants.
When leaving the apartment for the day, please lock the door behind you (whether or not the hosts are present).
If your host is not present at your departure, please lock the door (turn the bolt twice) and place the key inside the letterbox marked A.C. Mangham/T. Neupert.
